His perseverance and commitment led him to the University of California, Santa Cruz, and to the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, where he earned his Juris Doctorate. Post graduation, he applied his skills and knowledge in various food companies, eventually stepping into the role of Vice President of Human Resources at both Ruiz Food Products and Orval Kent Food Company.

In 1998, he leveraged his industry knowledge and HR expertise to establish his own recruitment firm, NextLevel Executive Search. With over 35 years of combined expertise in manufacturing, his firm has been helping companies find the right talent for their needs.
